1. Are tables and chairs included with the rental?
    Yes. We have (30) 70” rounds, (15) 6’ rectangles, (20) high tops, (300) house banquet chairs. You are welcome to bring in more decorative furniture at your own expense.
  2. Are linens included?
    No. You are able to bring in linens or we are able to provide them for an additional cost.
  3. What is required to hold a date and when is the final payment due?
    A $5,000 deposit and signed agreement are required to hold the date. An estimated 50% of your balance is due at the halfway mark and the final balance is due two weeks prior to your event
  4. What is your max capacity?
    Wedding: Our max capacity for a plated dinner is 250 guests. This is if you utilize the stage for your bridal party (up to 20 guests), the main theater floor (up to 200 guests) and the bar area (up to 30 guests). If you have a band, the capacity would be 230.
    Concert Style: Up to 1,000
    Theater Style: Up to 400 on the theater floor
    Strolling: Up to 500 on the theater floor
  5. Am I able to bring in outside food and liquor?
    It is required that all beverages are provided by the Garden Theater. You have the option to use our in-house caterer or choose a catering company from a list of our preferred caterers.
  6. Am I allowed to bring in outside vendors?
    We have a preferred vendor list, however, you are welcome to bring in outside vendors
  7. Do all of our items need to be removed at the end of my event?
    Yes, all items are to be removed at the conclusion of each event. We are not liable for any items that are brought into the theater
  8. Do you host multiple events at the same time?
    No, we host one event per day
  9. What are the parking options?
    We have a parking garage that is connected to the theater. It is located at 25 W Alexandrine. You are welcome to host parking for your guests in our garage for $10 per car or valet is available at the corner of Woodward and Selden for $15 per car
  10. Am I able to schedule a tour?
    We prefer to be flexible based on your schedule for a tour, but we must take into consideration any events being held. We typically do tours Monday-Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm; Saturday's may vary
  11. Will a Garden Theater team member be onsite for my event?
    The Garden Theater will provide a team of event managers to stay onsite during your event. If you are looking for someone to direct your event, we would recommend hiring a day – of-- coordinator or event planner
  12. Can I have my ceremony and reception at the Garden Theater?
    Yes. We are able to accommodate up to 150 guests in our atrium for a ceremony or up to 250 guests in the theater. If you have your ceremony in the atrium, your cocktail would take place in our mezzanine or the bar area of the theater. If you have your ceremony in the theater, your cocktail hour would take place in the atrium, Woodward Room and 2nd floor
